First Attempt at a Blog….
Planting the seed of Sagebrush Training. Some of you know that I used to start colts and take in problem horses for a living. I was feeling pretty confident in my timing and feel when I had one helluva wreck that humbled me and reminded me to let go of my ego. I battled some pretty serious traumatic brain injury symptoms that had my brain pretty scrambled and my body physically damaged. I have been on a lengthy journey to repair myself physically and spiritually. Along the way I have experienced pretty significant self doubt and fear issues. I attempted to correct those issues on my own and once again I was humbled. The fear and self doubt clung to be like gorilla glue. Battling these strong emotional traumas has once again yielded me in a new direction and I have been on quite the journey the last 10 years. Through daily study, practice and application I am finding the tools and tricks to overcome some of my strongest emotional traumas. I am experiencing what it feels like to live your BEST life as your Authentic self and I want to share these experiences with others. I do believe we all have unique gifts that we are meant to share. As a child and young adult, I always believed I would spend my life working with animals and claimed to not like people very much. Well I was sure surprised when the gift of selfless servitude was placed on my heart and I found myself in a career protecting and serving others. It has become my passion, and I truly feel it is my calling to help others along their path, as I continually work on my own. It is a blessing that I found a way to help folks work on themselves while working with their horses. The reality is that our partnerships with our horses develops quicker and stronger when we focus on fixing ourselves first. Stay tuned for weekly motivations on here. Similar to my daily motivations on Facebook, I plan on using this blog to continue inspiring and encouraging others and planting Sagebrush seeds.
